rotaryclub 120The Rotary Club of Ithaca is pleased to introduce five individuals who have recently joined the service club. These community members volunteer in Tompkins County and bring professional experience from the business and not-for-profit sectors. Ithaca Rotary’s motto is 'Service Above Self.' Membership is open to all who share in this belief; new members are accepted year-round.

"The Ithaca Rotary Club is delighted to welcome these individuals," said Rotary Membership Chair Ron Provus. "Our members come from all walks of life and have a wide variety of interests to match those of Rotary. As members of Ithaca Rotary, individuals give of their time and skills to positively impact the needs of our community."

rotary MonikaCollinsMonika Collins is the Director of Development and Community Relations at the Sciencenter. She received a B.A. in History from the University of New Mexico and an M.A. with a concentration in medieval history from the University of Chicago. Monika also worked for Humanities West, a San Francisco non-profit, and currently sits on their advisory committee. Originally from Albuquerque, she moved to Ithaca two years ago with her husband, who got a research position at Cornell. They welcomed a new son six months ago.
rotary MargaretFrankMargaret Frank recently started as Assistant Director, Communications and Economic Development Services at Tompkins County Area Development. She formerly worked as a Senior Marketing Coordinator at Tetra Tech Architects & Engineers for over 15 years. Margaret was born in Ithaca, grew up in Caroline, and is a graduate of Ithaca College with a BS in Corporate Communications. Margaret lives in Brooktondale with her family, and enjoys traveling, volleyball, and sewing.
rotary KimGazzoKimberly Gazzo is business manager for Worth Asset Brokerage, the galleries of which house National Book Auctions and Worth Auctions. She graduated with a BS degree in International Politics and is currently working on a Master’s degree in Religion. Kim has lived in Dryden since 2001, is a long-time member of Ancient Celtic Clans, and has served on a number of community organizations, including Multicultural Resource Center, Family & Children’s Service, Community Foundation of Tompkins County, and many more.
rotary NorbertMcCloskeyNorbert McCloskey is the Executive Director of the Ithaca Health Alliance. Norb received an associate’s degree in Petroleum Services Technology from Nichols State University, a B.S. in liberal arts from the University of the State of New York, and has completed coursework in the Master of Science Degree program in Interactive Instructional Technology at Bloomsburg University. In addition to his corporate duties, Norb has participated in peer-to-peer drug and alcohol counseling and crisis intervention. He has been an active Red Cross and Crisis Line volunteer since relocating to the Ithaca area.
rotary StephanieMeyerStephanie Meyer was born and raised in the Ithaca area. She studied photography and human services at Tompkins Cortland Community College, and then transferred to the Ithaca College Park School of Communications, graduating summa cum laude in spring 2006. She lived in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with her husband for six years before returning to Ithaca in 2014 to work for the Paleontological Research Institution as Director of Marketing and Development. Stephanie recently transitioned to the Boyce Thompson Institute as Senior Director for Advancement.
