Lansing LadyCats Swimming and Diving stays undefeated through 8! In a competitive meet with Watkins Glen, the Lansing Lady Cats continued their undefeated season with a 105-78 win over the Lady Senecas.

Senior Captain Paige Kieper , along with Juniors Grace Ferris and Katie Weaver,  won 2 individual events and each swam on 2 winning relays to help the Lady Cats secure the victory.

Scoring for Lansing by event was as follows.

200 Medley Relay:
1st Place with a winning time 1:57.84, the team of Paige Keiper (Back, 12, Capt), Grace Ferris (Breast, 11), Katie Weaver (Fly, 11) and Caroline Dennis(Free, 10) – 8 Points.
3rd Place with a time of 2:14.28 the team of Marin Allen (Back, 10), Krista Taylor(Breast, 11), Laura Ferris (Fly, 9) and Libby Weaver (Free,9) – 2 Points.

200 Freestyle:
1st Place with a winning time of 2:07.33, Katie Weaver - 6 pts;
2nd Place, Jackie Brown (10) with at time of 2:17.91- 4 Pts;
5th Place, Lexi Ryan (11) with a time of 2:31.73 – 1 Pts.


200 Individual Medley:
1st Place with a winning time of 2:24.41, Grace Ferris – 6 Pts;
4th Place, Lizzy Drake (12) with a time of 2:40.02 – 2 Pts;
5th Place, Laura Ferris with a time of 2:48.26 – 1 Pts.

50 Freestyle:
1st Place with a winning time of 26.22, Paige Kieper – 6 Pts;
2nd Place, Caroline Dennis with a time of 26.77 – 4 Pts.

100 Butterfly:
1st Place with a time of 1:03.54, Katie Weaver – 6 Pts;
2nd Place,  Marin Allen with a time of 1:09.19 – 4 Pts.

100 Freestyle:
1st Place with a winning time of 58.55, Caroline Dennis – 6 Pts;
2nd Place, Libby Weaver with a time of 1:00.53 – 4 Pts.

500 Freestyle:
2nd Place with a time of 6:08.56, Lizzy Drake – 4 Pts;
5th Place, Laura Ferris with a time of 6.28.18 – 1 Pt.

200 Freestyle Relay:
1st Place with winning time of 1:48.52 the team of Grace Ferris, Libby Weaver, Caroline Dennis and Katie Weaver – 8 Pts;
2nd Place with a time of 1:59.48, the team of  Jacqueline Brown, Krista Taylor, Amanda Van (11) and Lizzy Drake – 4 Pts.


100 Backstroke:
1st Place with a winning time of 1:04.13, Paige Kieper – 6 Pts;
3rd Place, Marin Allen with a time of 1:09.80 – 3 Pts;
5th Place, Tori Swanson (12, Capt.) with a time of 1:17.16 – 1 Pt.
 
100 Breaststroke:
1st Place with a winning time of 1:14.03, Grace Ferris – 6 Pts;
3rd Place, Jackie Brown with a time of 1:23.69 – 3 Pts;
5th Place, Krista Taylor with a time of 1:31.72 – 1 Pt.

400 Freestyle Relay:
1st Place with a winning time of 4:09.87 the team of Lizzy Drake, Libby Weaver, Marin Allen and Paige Kieper – 8 Pts.

The Ladycats next meet is home vs. Dryden on Tuesday October 13th at 4:30.
