Lansing varsity baseball traveled to Union Springs to play the Wolves on Wednesday April 26th.

Lansing was looking for revenge after the only loss of the season, a 4-0 shut out, came against the senior laden class B Wolves which have combined both the Union Springs and Port Byron school district to form their squad.

With a rough first inning, the Bobcats found themselves down 4-0 after the first inning, 9-2 at the end of the fourth, and down 11 to 3 at the bottom of the sixth inning. Lansing started a bit of a comeback with a 2 out, 2 run double by Jack Babuka in the top of the 7th to bring in David Waldman and Chris Weil. However the game ended with a final score of 11-5 as the Bobcats loss set their record for 6-2 for the season to date.
