July 28, 2006 (ITHACA, NY) - From August 3rd through the 5th, everyone's favorite car-driving, boat-sailing mouse scurries onto the Hangar Theatre stage. The Hangar's KIDDSTUFF season continues with E.B. White's timeless classic, The Adventures of Stuart Little, showing all three days at 10 am and Noon. Families can join Stuart, a mouse who runs away from home, as he searches for a lost friend and learns a lesson about what's important in life and that growing up doesn't always have to mean getting bigger. Adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette, The Adventures of Stuart Little is made possible at the Hangar Theatre with the support of Buttermilk Falls Pediatrics.

The Adventures of Stuart Little is another "7+" show in the KIDDSTUFF season. All KIDDSTUFF performances provide a matchless mix of entertainment, education, and live theatre thrills for the whole family. Although every child is different, this year the Hangar is helping parents by adding a KIDDSTUFF age stamp to each performance. Some of the productions feature exhilarating characters and exciting plots geared towards children ages 7 and older. These are the shows marked with the "7+" age stamp. The remaining performances are ideal for the whole family, including those children ages 4 and older. These are the shows marked with the "4+" age stamp. Families should keep these AGE STAMPS in mind when deciding which shows to attend in the KIDDSTUFF series.

Additionally, the whole family can see live, professional theatre for less than the price of a movie ticket, thanks to the Hangar Theatre's PAY WHAT YOU CAN (PWYC) program. On Saturday, August 5th at Noon, a set of seats have been reserved for "Pay What You Can" patrons to see The Adventures of Stuart Little. ANY AMOUNT will be accepted as payment for these tickets. The Hangar is proud to offer PWYC performances, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience live theatre regardless of financial resources. The KIDDSTUFF Pay What You Can program is made possible by the Tompkins County Foundation.
