ITHACA - Ronald G. Mc Kane, 74, of 24 Shore Drive, Ithaca, New York, died at 1:02 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2005, at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca.

Born May 9, 1931 in Lansing, New York, he was a son of the late John and Florence (nee Jacobs) Mc Kane. Mr. McKane was employed as a Truck Driver prior to becoming disabled and was a member of the New York State Horse Pullers Association.

Survivors include his son, John of Ithaca; his daughter, Theresa (Dale) Walter of Burdett, NY; his brothers, Richard (Nancy) of King Ferry, NY, Edward (Charlene) of Groton, Leland of Genoa; his sister, Arlene Goss of Groton; his granddaughter, Jamie Pokerwinski of Ithaca; his aunt, Sarah McKane of Ludlowville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy; and two brothers, Raymond and James Mc Kane.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at The Lansing Funeral Home, Inc., 32 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY. Rev. William Gottschalk-Fielding will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Cremation will follow.
