Emily Georgia, Ethan Calupca, Brandon Drake, Cole Quigley and Ryan Seymour all placed within top 20 bowlers in their divisions, between the IACs and Section IV Class Tournaments.  The five Lansing High School bowlers won 8 total medals at the IAC Bowling Tournament February at Valley Lanes in Waverly.  The Waverly Girls bowling team won the IACs with 2702 pin fall, while the Lansing girls bowling team finished in 8th place with a total 1940 pin fall.

Waverly's boys won the division with 3126 pin fall. The Lansing boys team finished in 3rd place with 2933 pin fall. Three Lansing boys won awards being in the top 15. Ethan Calupca, Cole Quigley and Brandon Drake.

The Section IV Class Tournament was held on a sport shot 'The Beaten Path' on February 14, 2016 at Midway Lanes in Vestal.  The Lansing Boys finished 3rd in the Class 'C' division scoring 2459 pin fall.

Newark Valley won the Class 'C' with 2659 pin fall with the Sidney team rolling past Lansing in the 10th frame, placing them second with a 2500 pin fall advancing their them to the State Qualifiers. Lansing Boys were acknowledged for their efforts.

Ethan Calupca earned a 3rd place scratch series medal; Ryan Seymour bowled a 212 scratch game to win 3rd place high game award. Cole Quigley shot a 221 game to win, 2nd place high game. Quigley performed well all season -- so well that he will advance to the State Qualifiers held at Family Recreational Lanes in Norwich today (Friday, February 19).
