The Lansing Varsity Volleyball team participated in the Candor Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 30th. Ten (10) teams participated in the Invitational from all over (Candor, Elmira, 2 teams from the Syracuse area, Hammondsport, Trumansburg, Tioga, Corning, South Side, and Lansing).
The Lansing Volleyball team went undefeated throughout the tournament and clinched first place when they beat their rival, T-burg, 25-22 in the final match.
Lansing Volleyball has an amazing team this year! It has incredible strength and team determination that is a true reflection of the experience and strategy of the new coach, Amy O'Brien.
This is truly an exciting year for Volleyball and us, spectators, have high expectations of the team achieving the ultimate wins - Sections, Regionals and States!
