The show was recorded in January 2017 on the solar-powered stage at eTown Hall in Boulder, CO.

The eChievement Award is one eTown's most popular segments. Listeners from around the country send in nominations of remarkable individuals who are working hard to make a positive difference in their communities and beyond. Joe Myer, co-owner of Myer Distillery in Ovid, NY, nominated Diane and Finger Lakes ReUse last fall. From massive river cleanups to programs that help the homeless, from neighborhood activists to national and international social and environmental organizations, eTown takes pride in celebrating the success stories of ordinary citizens accomplishing extraordinary things.
