Even though it didn't look like very much like Christmas outside last weekend, members of Boy Scout Troop 48 were at Woodsedge to decorate for the Christmas season. Every year on the first Saturday in December, in what has become a tradition for the boys in the troop, holiday decorations are set out in the large common room.

Residents interact with the boys and adult helpers, as they watch the decorations being put up. The boys enjoy decorating, but especially enjoy the snacks that are provided when the job is done. It is a fun afternoon for all.

Betty Norman, from Woodsedge, has arranged for the troop's help in decorating, for many years. Always excited about the event and appreciative of the boys' help, Betty makes sure everything is ready when the boys arrive.

A job well done which gets the rest of us in the mood for the holiday season and motivated to get our own decorations set out.
