ImageLansing traveled to Valley Bowl to bowl against Tioga Central last Thursday (1/14) as as the Lansing boys have been doing of late they would have taken all FOUR points in this crossover match. The Lansing boys started with a 961 game but improved each game to finish with a total pin count of 3069 to Tioga's 2757.

Tim Carlson lead all bowlers with a fine 259-685, followed by fellow classmate Trever Rounds 233-643 and then harrison Herzog's 618 series. Tioga had there bright spots with Chris Potucek 225-633 and Alex Boughton's 236-626. On the girls side the two teams split 2 & 2  with Lansing taking games 1 & 3 as Tioga's Racheal Boughton rolls218-539 and Lansing's Ashley Flemming 189-512 were the bright spots for either teams.

Odessa came to Helen Newman Wednesday in a crossover match.  As Lansing's coach in our final crossover I bowl all my seniors that are there on a given night.  This is my way our honoring them as some do not usually bowl in the the Top six.

Our total pin fall may have been down but the boys did as they have the most of the season win the match 4 to 0.  Trever Rounds led all bowlers with a fine 213-608 followed by Tim Carlson's 193-571.  OM's bright spot was Jamie Lachut as  he had all his games in the 190's for a 579 (he is looking for his first 200 game and I told him it would come).

On the girls side OM was hit by the sickness bug so they were unable to field a full team so Lansing's Girls still rolling their average took the match 4 / 0 behind senior Ashley Flemming's 193-477. The big test comes tonight 1-21-10 as Waverly comes to town in a match that can decide who wins the league!
