mailmanNew York State is in terrible shape.  It ranks poorly on a variety of indexes rating such things as economic and business outlook, state competitiveness, and economic freedom.  This is no surprise as New York’s state and local tax burden, per capita spending, and per capita government debt are among the highest in the nation.

In November voters in Tompkins County will have the opportunity to send a message to the governor and legislative leaders in Albany that we can no longer tolerate the irresponsible spending, taxing and mandates that have been a routine way of life in New York State for too long.

Tom Reynolds, who is running to serve in the New York State Assembly in the 125th Assembly District, is committed to controlling state spending and to reducing taxes and regulation.  Unlike our current Assemblyperson, Tom has worked his entire life in the private sector.  As a retired person aiming to render service to his community, he has no desire for a political career.  Tom understands that bigger government is not the solution to what ails New York State. In fact, government too often is the problem.

Vote for Tom Reynolds if you value freedom and prosperity in New York.
