The Lansing Football team continued their success on the road as they defeated Tioga 42-6, to improve to 2-0 on the young season. The Bobcats took the opening kick and drove 69 yards culminating in a 1 yard touchdown run by Trevor Countryman, Ryan Shaff converted his first of 6 PAT's to make the score 7-0.

On the Bobcats second possession they put together a 94 yard drive, finishing with a 10 yard touchdown pass from Vincent Redmond to Brian Milliman on forth down and 5.  Tioga answered back with their lone score of the evening with a Eric Wiseman 82 yard run, the first points given up by the Cats this season. The Tioga conversion attempt was stuffed to make the score 14-6. However, the Bobcats put together another scoring drive, scoring with 51 seconds remaining in the first half on a 33 yard touchdown pass from Redmond to Milliman, the kick made the score 21-6 after two quarters.

Tioga controlled the ball for much of the third quarter, but the Lansing defense would not allow them to get into the endzone despite several good opportunities. In the forth quarter Redmond again hooked up with Milliman, this time on 25 yard strike, they kick made the score 28-6. Ryan Fenner got the Bobcats on the board again in the forth with a 17 yard touchdown run, the kick made the score 35-6.

The final score of the evening came from the defense, as Ross Conlon picked up a Tioga fumble and scampered 6 yards for a touchdown, the kick made the final score 42-6. Trevor Countryman had an outstanding night finishing with 203 yards on 25 carries and one touchdown.  Additionally, Vincent Redmond had a excellent night passing, finishing 8 for 10, including 7 for 7 in the first half, for 105 yards and three touchdowns, all to Brian Milliman who caught 5 passes for 83 yards and the 3 scores. The offensive line again was a key component to both the successful running game and also the pass protection, and the defense again was solid throughout the evening.
