ImageThe Ladycat Varsity Swimming and Diving team raced to another win when they beat Watkins Glen 112-70 in a home meet last week.

Watkins Glen took first in the 200 Yard Medley Relay Varsity with two Lansing teams scoring when Lexi Payton, Alex Conte, Courtney Pollack and Ashley McDonald came in second, and Kate Adie, Katrina Mehringer, Kelsy Quigley and Morgan Barron third.  But Kali Dean ttok first place, finishing the  200 Yard Freestyle in 2:01.68.  Alex Conte came in second in the 200 Yard IM Varsity, with Lexi Payton and Courtney Pollack also scoring for Lansing.  Watkins Glen took first again in the 50 Yard Freestyle with Ashley McDonald, Anna Mapes, and Katrina Mehringer scoring for Lansing.

Danyelle Barron, Kayla Arrison, and Jessica Morse, all from Lansing were the only divers to compete in the meet.

Watkins Glen took first again in the 100 Yard Butterfly with three Lansing swimmers, Courtney Pollack, Kelsy Quigley, and Chelsea Tucker in close pursuit and scoring for Lansing.  But Lansing owned the Girls 100 Yard Freestyle event with Kali Dean, Anna Mapes, and Chelsie Radcliffe taking first, second, and third places.  Ashley McDonald finished first in the 500 Yard Freestyle with Valerie Massi and Nicole Nassif also scoring in the event. 

Watkins Glen took another first in the  200 Yard Freestyle Relay Varsity, with Lansing's 'C' team of Alex Conte, Anna Mapes, Kali Dean and Ashley McDonald speeding to second, and 'E' team Danyelle Barron, Morgan Barron, Annabele MaGinnis and Chelsie Radcliffe finishing third.

In the Girls 100 Yard Backstroke  Watkins Glen captured first and second place, with Lexi Payton, Kelsy Quigley, and Kate Adie scoring for Lansing.  Watkins took first again in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.  Alex Conte, Katrina Mehringer, and Chelsea Tucker scored points for Lansing.

But Lansing was back on top in the  Girls 400 Yard when Courtney Pollack, Anna Mapes, Kelsy Quigley and Kali Dean came in first followed by Valerie Massi, Kayla Arrison, Andrea Payton and Chelsie Radcliffe in second. 

The Lansing Modified team also won their meet with Lansing scoring 76 points to Watkins Glen's 64.
