Last week saw another triumph for Lansing's Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving Team at a meet at Waverly.  The Ladycats scored more than double Waverly's final result in a 125 - 58 meet.  Lansing girls won nine first places to Waverly's two in the eleven swimming events.

Lansing started strong with the 'C' team of Kali Dean, Alex Conte, Courtney Pollack and Ashley McDonald taking first place in the 200 Yard Medley Relay.  Jessica Morse, Shaye Weldon, Chelsea Tucker and Anna Mapes also scored for Lansing in third place.  Waverly's Cassidy Farr took first in the 200 Yard Freestyle, with Lansing's Lexi Payton, Chelsie Radcliffe, and Andrea Payton scoring.  Lansing was back on top when Alex Conte took first place in the 200 Yard IM, finishing in 2:35.60.  Valerie Massi and Katrina Mehringer also scored for Lansing in the event.

Kali Dean seemed unstoppable, taking another first place in the 50 Yard Freestyle in 25.46.  Kelsy Quigley also scored, with Waverly taking second and third places. Only Lansing divers competed in the 1 mtr diving event.  Danyelle Barron scored highest, followed by Kayla Arrison and Jessica Morse.

Ashley McDonald finished first when she completed the 100 Yard Butterfly in 1:13.32.  Chelsie Radcliffe scored in second place, with Susanne Donovan scoring in fourth.  First place belonged to Waverly in the 100 Yard Freestyle, with Lexi Payton, Kayla Arrison, and Chelsea Tucker scoring for Lansing in second, third, and fourth.

In the 500 Yard Freestyle Alex Conte sped to first place, with Lansing swimmers  Katrina Mehringer and Ally Livermore also scoring. 
The 'C' team was triumphant again in the 200 Yard Frestyle Relay as Kali Dean, Kelsy Quigley, Lexi Payton and Anna Mapes completed the event in 1:52.49.  Lansing's 'E' team came in second, with Amanda Leonardo, Annabele MaGinnis, Danyelle Barron and Kayla Arrison finishing in  2:04.09.

Ashley McDonald won first place in the 100 Yard Backstroke, with Courtney Pollack taking second place, and Jessica Morse also scoring.  Kali Dean was number 1 again when she took first place in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, with Valerie Massi and Shaye Weldon scoring for Lansing. 

Finishing off the meet, the 'C' team was triumphant again as Alex Conte, Anna Mapes, Lexi Payton and Ashley McDonald finished first.  Amanda Leonardo, Katrina Mehringer, Courtney Pollack and Chelsie Radcliffe also scored in the event, coming in third.
