ImageLansing Varsity soccer boys won the IAC Division I title as they beat Trumansburg 3-0 Goals were scored by Casey Byrne, Nick Geisler and Dan Hranek Geisler's goal was set up by Joe Skeps who sent in a deep cross to Geisler who ran onto the ball and heded a one time shot into the net.  The boys fell to Spencer van Etten 1-0 in the IAC semi-final game, though outshooting the Panthers 15-3 the bobcats could not find the back of the goal.

Spencer struck mid-way through the second half as their exchange student from Germany scored with 22 minutes left-Lansing kept coming but could not get the equalizer. During the regular season with Lansing only gave up 6 goals in 16 games.  This tied a school record for goals allowed during the regular season.

Lansing will now host the winner of the Windsor/Watkins Glen game on Saturday October 27 @ 3:30 in the quarterfinals of the Section IV Class B tournament.  If they win the will again host the semi-final game on Wednesday the 31st at 3:30.

The varsity Boys Soccer Team is currently 14-1-2.
