ImageThe Lansing Girls Basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season as they defeated Watkins Glen last Thursday 72-24, and Moravia on Tuesday 50-37.  In Thursdays game with Watkins Glen the Ladycats receivedbalanced scoring with four players in double figures led by JocelynFord with 22 points, 11 points each by Rachael Palladino and Beth Lader, and 10 points from Ellyn Grant-Keane who connected on all fiveof her shot attempts from inside the arch.

Megan Palladino had 9points and a team high 15 rebounds and 6 assists, in addition to playing solid defense holding the Senecas leading scorer to 3 points,and Stephanie Gonyea added 8 points and 5 rebounds.  In Tuesdays game the Ladycats were led by Jocelyn Ford with 19 points, Rachael Palladino added 9 points and MC Barrett and Beth Lader each had 6 points.

The team travels to Newark Valley on Friday for their first Division I contest.
