Thom Hartmann will be returning to afternoons on Progressive Talk 1470AM/97.7 FM radio in Ithaca, NY starting Monday, May 19th.

“The Thom Hartmann Program is our most popular show on WNYY.  His program is intelligent, insightful, and offers critical thinking and debate on the most talked about subjects in America,” said Chet Osadchey, VP/GM of the Cayuga Radio Group.

Hartmann’s show is carried live as a syndicated show from 3p-6p on most radio stations, but locally WNYY had tape delayed the show in order to carry the Randi Rhodes Show live in the afternoons.  Rhodes recently announced that her syndicated show through Premiere Networks would end on May 16th.

“In addition to Thom now having a live radio audience, we also move Alan Colmes show to earlier each evening, and will be adding the Leslie Marshall Show to our weekday line up.  This will give WNYY listeners the continued high quality progressive talk radio line up they are used to hearing.” said Osadchey.
