Hello, dear visitor! My name is Monte, and I was sadly surrendered by my person, who could no longer afford my upkeep. She did say that I'm a very friendly guy who loves attention and sitting in someone's lap being petted. If you grow weary of that activity, I might simply stay in your lap and rub myself on you, thereby getting just about the same effect! I'm much more interested in interacting with people than toys, and here at the SPCA I've been tolerant of some of my fellow felines; if you have another cat at home, ask at the front desk for the best way to introduce his/her new pal; I lived with a dog and another cat in my first home, so it shouldn't be much of a problem.
