Last Sunday Lansing's Cub Scout Troup 48 had a chicken barbecue to raise money for the troup. "Proceeds will go to the general fund to give more opportunities to the boys," said scout leader Mike Ziegler.

The scouts had a display of recent activities by Wolf and Tiger dens to help attract new cub scouts.
