Some of the services provided by the professional staff at the Dryden Town Hall are the review of building plans and inspection of construction projects to make sure that they meet New York State safety and energy efficiency standards. This work has been faithfully carried out for 19 years in the Town of Dryden by Kevin Ezell.
Last week The New York State Building Officials Conference (NYSBOC), an organization of over 1800 Code Enforcement Officers, honored Kevin with the 2017 Code Enforcement Official of the Year award. Kevin has been an active member of NYSBOC and its local chapter, the Southern Tier Building Official Association (STBOA), for 24 years.
"Town Supervisor Jason Leifer stated that: "Enforcing the NYS Building Code is one of the many services provided by Town government. When a contractor or individual comes into the Town Planning Department with a building or development project, our Code Enforcement Officers work with them through plan reviews, education and building inspections. These are some of the many Town services provided that promote the health and safety of our citizens. We are proud to have Kevin as one of the professional members of our Town Hall staff."
