Kids will have the opportunity to make their own molds of animal tracks to take home. At 3 p.m., Todd Miner of Cornell Outdoor Education will share ways for families to safely explore the outdoors during winter.
On Sunday, January 7, visitors can explore the “Science of Snow.” Families can discover how ski mountains make artificial snow and groom their trails, and participate in an interactive demonstration on how natural snow forms. The February program will be available on the Sciencenter’s web site www.sciencenter.org later this winter.
