The Tompkins County Quilters Guild proudly announces its 15th biennial quilt show, entitled “Traditions and Beyond 2005”, to be held on Saturday, October 1st (10am-5pm) and Sunday, October 2nd (11am-5pm), at the Community Recreation Center (The Rink/The Field), 1767 East Shore Drive, Ithaca, NY. The guild of over 150 members will present a show which features over 300 quilts, wearable art/accessories, soft sculpture, demonstrations, vendors, an original design raffle quilt, and a silent auction of over 50 small quilts.

The raffle quilt is an original design by Elsie Dentes, made by guild members and machine-quilted by Lori Benjamin.

Lansing resident Ruth White's quilt, "New York Quark", was accepted into the 2003 International Quilt Show in Houston and will be shown at our show in October.

Admission will be $5 per person, $3 for seniors and students, and free to under 12 yrs.
