T-Burg Mini GolfT-Burg Mini GolfYou could spend days visiting all eleven Finger Lakes and all they have to offer.  But starting last Monday you could also visit all eleven lakes in Trumansburg, saving gas and possibly winning prizes for doing so.  Doing it that second way would mean you are visiting the unique corn maze at T-Burg Mini Golf .  This year the maze has been carved out of a 10 acre corn field in the shape of a map of the entire Finger Lakes region.

“The maze incorporates activities that the Finger Lakes are famous for, such as wine making, auto racing, sailing and hot air ballooning," say owners Melinda and Michael Cirri.  "All eleven Finger Lakes are part of the maze, and each lake has a sign with educational information about that lake.  With the assistance of the Museum of the Earth, Finger Lakes trivia has been included in the maze to add to the challenge."

The Cirris opened T-Burg Mini Golf just over a year ago with a professionally designed 18 hole mini golf course, an arcade, and last year's corn maze.  This year they are inviting the public to literally 'Get lost in the Finger Lakes.'

At the end of the season visitors who answer all the trivia questions correctly will be randomly selected to win prizes.  One grand prize winner and a guest will enjoy an aerial tour of Cayuga Lake.  The Second prize winner will get a one year charter membership to the Museum of the Earth.  Other prizes include a 2010 T-Burg Mini Golf season pass, shirts and T- Burg Mini Golf arcade tokens.

The Finger Lakes Corn Maze is open seven days a week until sunset from now through November 1st.  Friday and Saturday nights have extended maze hours where visitors can have the additional challenge of the only light coming from a flashlight.
