The Corporate Development Committee (CDC) of Lansing Central Schools, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization whose sole purpose is to support and further the educational opportunities of Lansing students by providing equipment and technology. It is the aim of the CDC to fund projects that are outside of the district budget and have high impact to as many students as possible.
In October 2008 the CDC presented the Board of Education with a check for $60,000 for an audio/video broadcast center for the Elementary School, a CNC machine and computers for the Technology Program and six interactive whiteboards, from Promethean. And in March 2009, the CDC presented a check for $1475 towards new heart rate monitors for the High School.
The CDC raises money through its annual auction and dance. This year’s event will be held on October 24th at the Lake Watch Inn on East Shore Drive in Lansing.
