Lansing United Methodist Church opens the season of Christmas celebrations with "The World Sings Noel", a children's Christmas Pageant, on December 18 at approximately 11:15 am, as soon as the regular Sunday service is over. The youth of the church will tell the traditional Christmas story through multi-cultural carols and passages from scripture.

Immediately following the pageant, the children, and many of the adults who work with them in the church’s youth program, present a "Happy Birthday, Jesus Party" as their special holiday gift to the congregation.

On Monday, December 19, at 4 pm, the annual Christmas Party of The Lansing Food Pantry is scheduled in the Fellowship Hall of LUMC, 32 Brickyard Hill Road. Many "extras” will be added to the regular food distribution, plus cookies and other treats will be served. Children who were pre-registered for the party will receive at least two gifts (an item of clothing and a toy) donated by the entire Lansing Community for distribution at this gathering.

There will be NO Christmas Day service at All Saints.

Beginning Sunday, January 8, 2006, All Saints will change the time of service and add an additional mass. The new times are at 8:30 am and 11 am. Religious school and coffee hour will be between the new masses

Christmas Day @ 10 am, The singing of carols and a special children's service.
