scnmnanomonth_girl120The world’s smallest science ie being featured at the Sciencenter during the month of March. To celebrate all things nano, the Sciencenter is featuring a new exhibition on nanotechnology, and will once again be inviting the community to its annual NanoDays celebration at the end of the month.

Right now at the Sciencenter, visitors are invited to explore Nano: The New Mini-Exhibition, which opened at the Sciencenter on March 6. Through a collection of interactive exhibits you can discover a world you can’t see and learn about how nanotechnology is already all around us. Nano provides opportunity to also consider the societal and ethical implications of advances in this emerging field.

Later this month “NanoDays: The Biggest Event for the Smallest Science” with be featured. NanoDays is a free two-day community celebration of nanoscience, nanotechnology and nanoengineering hosted by the Sciencenter and Cornell University. The Sciencenter is a lead participant in and the content developer for the NSF-sponsored Nanoscale Informal Science Education (NISE) Network that brings NanoDays to over 100 museums across the US each March.
