Working closely with Ithaca Festival organizers, the folks at 14850.com are making it easy for Ithaca Festival attendees to find out about this weekend's musical goings-on, right on their smartphone. Without even having to download an app, anyone with a web-capable phone can visit the festival web site and see a mobile-friendly schedule of events.

Users with an Android phone, iPhone, or similar device visiting www.ithacafestival.org will be presented a mobile interface.

The mobile Ithaca Festival site includes a day-by-day performer schedule for each of the eight performance stages around Downtown Ithaca, and tapping the scheduled performer will bring up a description of that musician or band. The performer's listing will show other times that same performer will be playing, if they're scheduled more than once during the weekend.

As an additional benefit for those visiting the Ithaca area for the weekend, or even area residents who just aren't that familiar with Downtown Ithaca, the Ithaca Festival web app includes the beautiful Ithaca Festival map, as well as links to each venue's location on a mobile Google Maps page.

Smartphone users do not need to download an app in order to use the mobile schedule or maps on any web-capable touchscreen phone, and there is no charge for the service. Data access charges may be applied by the cellular carrier, and are the responsibility of the user.
