New Roots Charter School held it's second commencement celebration for the Class of 2013 on Saturday at the State Theater of Ithaca. The program featured diverse musical performances showcasing seniors’ talents, reflections on a New Roots education by graduating seniors, and a ceremony 'passing the torch' to the Class of 2014. The school's first graduating class was last year.
