Bisaccio has been appointed Senior Vice President and Regional Manager to develop commercial lending services based in Onondaga County, said Greg Hartz, President and CEO.  As Tompkins Trust Company grows in the Syracuse market, Brian will be joined by representatives from Tompkins Financial Advisors, the company's wealth management firm, and Tompkins Insurance Agencies, an agency with roots going back 100 years in Central New York.

Tompkins has been serving customers in Onondaga County for several years, experiencing growth in its commercial banking, wealth and insurance businesses, which led to the decision to establish an office in Syracuse.

"We've been very pleased with the response from our growing base of Syracuse customers, and we felt it was time to establish a convenient office for our customers and staff," said Hartz.  "Brian's more than 30 years of banking experience in the Syracuse market, along with his extensive knowledge of the banking industry, will provide strong leadership for Tompkins Trust Company customers in Onondaga County. We are confident in his abilities to assist businesses in achieving success."

"Tompkins Trust Company is nationally recognized for its stability and financial strength," Bisaccio said.  "Decisions for loans are made here in Central New York, which is an advantage for customers.  They can talk to the decision-makers."

Bisaccio brings extensive experience to his new role with Tompkins.  With 30 years of banking experience, he was most recently the senior vice president for business banking for Key Bank.  Before that, he was the market president of CNY of Wilber National Bank and was a senior lending officer for Partners Trust Bank.

Active in the community, Bisaccio has served on numerous boards in the Syracuse area including the Greater Syracuse Business Development Corporation, the Better Business Bureau of CNY, the Manlius Library and the American Heart Association.  He currently is a board member of the Landmark Theater.

He and his wife, Maureen, have three daughters and live in Manlius.
