Abby Peterson has joined Tompkins Trust Company as a marketing communications business partner, according to Gregg McAllister, vice president of marketing communications.

Her responsibilities include coordinating marketing initiatives, events and media relations in the Tompkins Trust Company market of Central New York and the Finger Lakes.  In addition, she will provide marketing support for other banks throughout Tompkins Financial Corporation, focusing on graphics and social media campaigns.

"Abby's experience in the marketing industry makes her a valuable asset to the department," McAllister said. "We're excited to have her on our team."

Peterson has a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Ithaca College. She has over four years of experience working at a full service marketing agency.

She lives in Ithaca with her partner Meagan.
