Morgan Stanley announced Monday that Jeremy Downs and Beth Prudence, Financial Advisors in the Firm's Seneca Street office, have created The Lenroc Team at Morgan Stanley. The Lenroc Team takes a client-centric approach to financial planning and investment management; aligning specific resources that help professionals and families meet their financial goals.

Both Downs and Prudence are graduates from Cornell University. Downs graduated in '05 with a degree in Applied Economics and Management. A four year letter winner on the hockey team, he played in every contest for The Big Red, including two ECAC championships and a trip to the NCAA Frozen Four. Following a professional hockey career in the US and Europe, Downs and his wife returned to Ithaca to raise their three boys.

It was a lifetime interest in capital markets and Prudence's client-focused approach that connected Downs to Prudence at Morgan Stanley. Downs commented, "Through teaming, we can strengthen how we serve our clients, increase our areas of focus, and ultimately provide more solutions that fit changing financial needs."

Prudence is an '89 graduate from Cornell's College of Human Ecology. During her 20 year career in finance she has held senior positions at local area institutions, and gained her Certified Financial Planner™ certification. As a Vice President, Financial Advisor, and Senior Portfolio Manager with Morgan Stanley, Prudence is excited to form The Lenroc Team.

"This was simply a great fit," says Prudence. "We wanted to do what we felt was best for our clients, and ultimately continue to help people make smart choices when it comes to their money."
