Tompkins Trust Company has hired John Bauda in the role of Vice President, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager.
Bauda joins the company with 13 years of experience in financial services. His responsibilities with the Commercial Lending team include all facets of bank relationship management: real estate and construction financing, providing working capital solutions, structuring financial transactions to support mergers and acquisitions, guidance on depository and cash management services, and client relationship building with affiliate partners in Tompkins Financial Advisors and Tompkins Insurance Agencies.
Bauda recently moved from Buffalo to Ithaca with his wife and two daughters. He is the former Treasurer and Chair of the Loan committee for Westminster Economic Development Initiative (WEDI), a Certified Development Financial Institution, based in Buffalo, New York. He attended Western Illinois University and Houghton College in New York, and holds his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western Illinois University.
