Samantha and Simply Red built a loyal following at her Trumansburg Bistro which originally opened in 2000. This move was triggered by the sale of the building and subsequent loss of the location. “Simply Red Bistro at Sheldrake Point presents a win-win culinary experience for patrons of both restaurants” says winery owner Chuck Tauck. “We are very excited and looking forward to another busy season.”
The romance and beauty of the Finger Lakes have been attracting wedding couples to Sheldrake Point Winery in growing numbers. With complete facilities at the winery for private parties, Catering Manager Chef Jack Carrington will continue to provide guests the finest quality in hospitality services for weddings and other special occasions.
Sheldrake Point Winery was established in 1997. The company owns and operates a 42-acre vineyard; 7000 case winery; Simply Red Bistro overlooking Cayuga Lake, gardens and vineyards; tasting room; and private event hospitality services for up to 160 guests.
