"This action provides new value to our clients and maximizes growth potential," said Spider Graphics CEO, Don Ellis. "We now have a local interface with a major hosting center and can access the skills of the more than 100-person technology staff of ITX."
ITX gains from Spider Graphics' 12 years of web and application development experience with the region's businesses and organizations, including universities and wineries. Neither of the combined firms will relocate, and all current staff will be retained, said Ellis, who will remain in a lead role. New job opportunities at Spider ITX are a further positive result of the move.
Ellis and Ralph Dandrea, CEO of ITX, first met early last year and immediately recognized similarities in company culture and history. Each was interested in growth, personalized service, long-lasting client relationships, and a commitment to the community. After a year of transition planning, Spider ITX debuted on January 1, 2008.
"I am excited to welcome the Spider team to ITX, because their standards are so compatible with ours in terms of client relationships and superior service," said Dandrea.
ITX is a multi-faceted firm that offers a range of information technology services to businesses in 34 states including hosting in six data centers worldwide, network design, and application development.
