Alison Helmetsie, PT, and James Cunningham, DPT, have recently joined the practices of McCune, Ainslie and Associates Physical Therapy and Dryden Sport & Spine. Ms. Helmetsie is a 2007 graduate of Ithaca College's Physical Therapy program with additional coursework done with the McKenzie Institute for spine physical therapy. Ms. Helmetsie returns to Ithaca after practicing at an orthopedic clinic in Albany this past year.


Mr. Cunningham graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY-Albany, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. In 2008 he graduated from SUNY-Upstate Medical Center with a doctoratal degree in physical therapy. He also specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy and is a certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist.

Both physical therapists will practice at McCune, Ainslie & Associates PT in Ithaca and at Dryden Sport & Spine PT, evaluating and treating patients primarily for orthopedic diagnoses.
