Life’s So Sweet Chocolates will celebrate the opening of its newly remodeled and expanded manufacturing facility and retail store at 27 West Main Street in Trumansburg with a grand re-opening celebration on Tuesday June 8, 2010 at 10:00am.

“Our first grand opening in February 2008 was a snowy day filled with dreams of offering unique hand crafted chocolate experiences for all,” said Darlynne Overbaugh, Life’s So Sweet Owner and Chocolatier. “The dream is thriving despite the economy. With this remodeling and expansion, our location is going to be a destination for chocolate lovers in the Finger Lakes and beyond.”

Life’s So Sweet Chocolates offers a fusion of handcrafted artisan chocolates, traditional chocolates, and hard-to-find classic candies. The largest selection is available at the retail store in Trumansburg and online store as well as at retail locations throughout the Finger Lakes including Purity Ice Cream, Ithaca Coffee Company, Belle Melange, Standing Stone Vineyards, and Knapp Winery.

Life’s So Sweet is one of the only truly hand crafted chocolate companies in the Finger Lakes region that offers tours and tastings in their facility. “Chocolate is so much more than a sweet indulgence. It stirs the taste buds, heart and soul” says Overbaugh. “Our tours allow people to learn about and enjoy quality chocolate in an affordable way.”

For the summer season (now through Labor Day), the store is open Monday through Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm, Sundays 12:00-5:00pm.
