Shane Cameron has been promoted to branch manager of the Tompkins Trust Company’s East Hill Plaza office, according to Helen D. Talty, vice president of community banking for Tompkins Trust. “Shane has shown exceptional customer service and leadership skills,” Talty said. “We are pleased that we are able to give him this opportunity for advancement.”
Cameron joined the bank in 2008 as a teller at the East Hill Plaza office. Most recently, he was a customer service specialist at the bank’s main office on The Commons. He is a graduate of Calvin College, with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in political science. The previous manager of the East Hill Plaza Office, Rachel Clarkson, will soon move to the Washington, D.C. area with her family. She had managed the branch for two years.
