Triphammer Marketplace go way beyond a new sign. New merchants, new ad campaigns, new seasonal decorations and new events all point to revitalization at the Triphammer Marketplace. Since 1963, the Thaler family has provided a quality shopping experience and today, the 23 , and growing, merchants continue to provide unique and outstanding services and products.
“My family has been here for over 47 years and we feel that Triphammer Marketplace is a great place and a great location to do business,” says Julie Crowley owner of Ithaca Coffee Company and Triphammer Wines and Spirits.
Triphammer Marketplace is anchored by two, locally focused, national chains, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store and Kinney Drugs. In between, 21 locally owned and operated businesses proudly serve their friends and neighbors in the Ithaca area. Wright Fitness & Cycling is the newest storefront at the Triphammer Marketplace. Ithaca native, April Wright, is the personal trainer and cycling instructor.
“I wanted to be where the action is and it was clear to me that Triphammer Marketplace is the perfect fit for my business. There is lots of parking, committed local ownership and it is centrally located to accommodate all my clients,” said April Wright, the owner.
A new addition at the Triphammer Marketplace is a 17’ tree with 1400 lights for the holiday season. Also, snowflakes, extra trees and 55 wreaths make The Marketplace a welcoming holiday experience. Whether it is grabbing a hot chocolate at Ithaca Bakery, celebrating a holiday party at The Rose, buying a guitar at McNeil Music , or having your hair done at Gene’s Barber Stylist or Gia’s Elite Style there is something for everyone at the Triphammer Marketplace.
New events are also drawing crowds. HolidayFest on December 11th will be the second in a series of events planned for The Marketplace.
“We see ourselves as the place where the community gathers,” says Donna Prybyl, a member of the new events management team. “We have a series of events planned throughout the year for all ages to enjoy with special sales and coupons from our merchants. We are like a family, everyone supports each other. That’s one of the things that makes Triphammer Marketplace so special and why shoppers feel at home,” says Prybyl.
