King Ferry Winery Maker of Treleaven Wines™. The updates and upgrades were designed and concepted by Julia Reich Design, an award-winning brand strategy and graphic design firm.
Julia Reich Design’s development team updated the King Ferry Winery website with several e-commerce and social media options. They include a shopping cart and online store for wine purchases, gift shop, a frequent buyers club, shipping club for customers at a distance, events calendar, links to visitor resources, and the ability to sign up for email and text updates. Visually, Julia Reich Design’s graphic designers used images that feature both grapes and views of Cayuga Lake from the King Ferry Winery vineyards, to populate the website.
According to Principal Julia Reich, “Our overall goal was to create an authentic sense of place with King Ferry Winery’s website; something that says “this is the Finger Lakes”. We did that by combining the imagery and colors with the visitor resources, information about different types of wines, social media and e-commerce functions, and creating an online hub for one of the region’s best-known wineries.”
Julia Reich Design began concepting and designing the upgraded King Ferry Winery website in May 2011. The redesigned site was launched in February 2012.
