Christina McKeoughKrums Corners Bakery, a sister company to Ithaca’s Gimme! Coffee, announced the addition of Christina McKeough as the company’s new bakery director.  Locally, Christina is best known for founding, with her husband Jonah, the popular Hazelnut Kitchen in Trumansburg and is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.

“I see tremendous opportunity working at Krums Corners Bakery,” said McKeough. “With six retail locations to present our baked goods and new opportunities in catering and events, I can utilize my skills as a chef in new and exciting ways.”

In addition to the day-to-day operations of the bakery, Christina is also responsible for new recipe development and testing as well as modifications to some classic recipes like the Raspberry Streusel Bars and Almond Cake.  The bakery will continue to provide fresh, delicious treats but with a heightened emphasis on seasonality and locally sourced ingredients. Many items offered are also gluten free or vegan.

Krums Corners Bakery operates out of the facility adjacent to the Gimme! Coffee Roastery On Krums Corners Road, just outside of Ithaca. The bakery serves Gimme! Coffee locations as well a wholesale accounts in the region.
