Beginning August 2006 and running through July 2007, the 16th Season features 3 regional premiere plays and the world premiere of a new musical (dates TBA).

The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams
Clean Alternatives by Brian Dykstra (regional premiere)
The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow by Rolin Jones (regional premiere)
World Premiere Musical by Rachel Lampert & Larry Pressgrove
After Ashley by Gina Gionfriddo (regional premiere)
Yellowman by Dael Orlandersmith
Passion by Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine

"The 2006-07 season is ambitious - the theater's 16th anniversary and my 10th year as Artistic Director! All of the choices are 'conversation starters' in true Kitchen Theatre Company style: A mixture of post-modern new plays that sting with their wickedly satiric views on contemporary America, new and lesser-known musicals, and an American classic. Lots of humor moves these plays along as they point and pick at our human foibles," says the Kitchen's Artistic Director, Rachel Lampert. "The season is bold and I am delighted that we can bring such an exciting roster of new titles to our audience. Music will be featured again (always a special experience in our intimate space), and anchoring the season is Williams' The Glass Menagerie. I look forward to the many 'important conversations that happen in the Kitchen' throughout the season," says Lampert.

KTC offers three different types of subscriptions: 7-Play, 5-Play and 10-admission Flex Passes. Main Stage performances are Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 4pm. Subscriptions go on sale April 13, 2006.
