Meet the Corcoran family: Cameron (Aundre Seals), Cadence (Karen Dumont), Cameron's mother Corinna (Percy Browning) charming children Carrington, Calypso, Cadwyn, Calliope, and the youngest, Bob (Connor Briggs, Jewell Payne, Blythe Hodgson, Kii Kinsella). It's perfectly normal for them to get up every morning, have breakfast, get ready for their day and sing Gilbert and Sullivan songs every step of the way. This would be perfect if only the Corcoran's landlords, Mr. and Mrs. Snivel (Stephen Nunley and Lesley Greene), who live downstairs, were not total music haters! How can the music continue? Well, it's up to some clever singing from actors and audience.
I Have a Song to Sing, O! is directed by Kitchen Theatre Company Resident Artistic Fellow Melyssa Hall. Music Director Richard Montgomery will accompany the songs on piano. KTC Artistic Associate Emily Jackson is Assistant Director. Playwright Rachel Lampert, who also serves as KTC's Artistic Director, has authored many original productions for family audiences (Winter Tales, The Odyssey Part I, A December Suite, The Sisters Fitzenstarts Fall Recital, The Emmett & Hambone Stories and Fools! Schmools!) as well as adaptations of A Christmas Carol, Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore and The Mikado.
