Last Saturday the Lansing Theater and Performing Arts (L-TAPA) Booster Club presented a cabaret to kick off their fund raising year.  It was an evening of songs and skits, laced with a little dance.  The group also sold L-TAPA car magnets to raise money and get the word out about performing arts in Lansing.

The evening began with the ensemble singing and dancing "All That Jazz."  From there Haley Bacorn MCed the two act cabaret that included a lot of songs from recent Broadway musicals as well as some old standards like Robin Parkins and Kate Schuttenberg's rendition of "Dream a Little Dream of Me."

Zach Wilhelm and Alex Jouandet were on hand with comedy skits, including "Midair Mayhem," in which a pilot and co-pilot have a little fun scaring their passengers.  Andy Lockwood and Katie Bruno topped off the evening with solos from Hercules and Lucky Stiff.
