The Hangar’s KIDDSTUFF season continues with A. A. Milne’s classic, Winnie-the-Pooh, showing all six days at 10 am and Noon. Families will laugh along as the happily dim-witted Pooh finds himself in all sorts of frantic adventures with friends like Piglet, Rabbit, Eeyore, and Roo. Dramatized by Kristen Sergel, Winnie-the-Pooh is made possible at the Hangar Theatre with the support of Alphabet Soup. The KIDDSTUFF season is made possible by season sponsors Wegmans and Ithaca College, and season media sponsor, I-100.
Winnie-the-Pooh is the first of two KIDDSTUFF productions this summer that will run for two consecutive weekends. With more KIDDSTUFF performances than ever before, the Hangar is giving parents and children more opportunities to enjoy the magic of live theatre together. Larger groups like camps, day-care classes, and family reunions can take advantage of group discounts for KIDDSTUFF performances and save fifty percent off the price of single tickets.
Additionally, the whole family can see live, professional theatre for less than the price of a movie ticket, thanks to the Hangar Theatre’s PAY WHAT YOU CAN (PWYC) program. On Saturday, June 30th at Noon, a set of seats have been reserved for “Pay What You Can” patrons to see Winnie-the-Pooh. ANY AMOUNT will be accepted as payment for these tickets. The Hangar is proud to offer PWYC performances, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience live theatre regardless of financial resources. The KIDDSTUFF Pay What You Can program is made possible by HOLT Architects, P.C., with support from Autodesk, Inc., Cayuga Family Medicine, Purity Ice Cream and True Insurance.
