ImageITHACA—The Tompkins County Public Library and Ithaca Made Movies will host a discussion and signing by New Jersey writer Richard Koszarski, author of Hollywood on the Hudson, Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Borg Warner Community Meeting Room.

Hollywood on the Hudson is a beautifully illustrated testament to the role the East Coast played in the early film industry.

A professor of film studies at Rutgers University, Koszarski also serves as a member of the Fort Lee Film Commission, an organization dedicated to preserving, maintaining and promoting the cultural heritage of the Fort Lee community.

This program is free and open to the public and will also include silent film footage, still photographs and music videos.  It has been made possible by the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation through a grant from the Brooks Family Foundation.
