The Lansing Middle School will perform the musical "Annie Jr." this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 6th, 7th and 8th. The cast of 5th through 8th graders number 125. The story about Annie (Megan Hall-Ruquet), a little orphan girl, who having been sent to the orphanage by her parents, wins the heart of billionaire philanthropist Oliver Warbucks (Richard McDonough).

Annie and the 85 orphans have to endure the repressive control of Miss Hannigan (Mikayla Berry) in the orphanage. They finally get to celebrate with Annie when Miss Hannigan and her trickster sidekicks, Lilly (Halle Knowles) and Rooster (Yusong Liu) are carted off to jail for impersonating Annie's parents. With the able help of Oliver Warbucks personal secretary Grace (Keara Lowenhar) the fraud is revealed.
