ImageThe wildly warm-hearted musical The Mystery of Edwin Drood, based on Charles Dickens’ famous unfinished novel, comes to the Hangar stage Thursday, August 13 through Saturday, August 15 with performances at 10:00 a.m and 12:00 p.m. each day. 

On a stormy Christmas Eve, the mysterious disappearance of Edwin Drood will lead to a most unusual finish—we let you decide the ending! This boisterous and magical show will be performed by middle-school aged students in the Hangar Teens program and will be most enjoyed by our older Kiddstuff audiences.

Hangar Theatre artistic director Peter Flynn directs the cast of over 35 students and Tony Award nominee Brooks Ashmanskas choreographs.  The original Broadway production of Drood received 5 Tony Awards, 8 Drama Desk Awards, and 5 Outer Critics Circle Awards. Musical numbers include “The Wages of Sin,” “Both Sides of the Coin,” “Don't Quit While You're Ahead,” and “Moonfall.”
