The 10th Annual Finger Lakes International Wine Competition was held Saturday & Sunday, March 27 & 28, 2010 at the Rochester Plaza Hotel. Fifty-six world-renowned Wine Judges from 10 states and 10 countries evaluated the entries and awarded Bronze, Silver, Gold and the unanimous Double Gold Medals.
In addition, The John Rose Award, named for John Rose, who worked at Heron Hill Winery, was a strong supporter of Camp Good Days, and lost his battle to cancer, was awarded to Anthony Road the Best in Class Riesling.
The Crystal Grape Award was awarded to Vignoble du Marathonien for their Vidal, the Best in Class Icewine.
Awards were also given to Prejean Winery for the Best in Class Chardonnay, and to Constellation Brands for their Toasted Head, the Best in Class Cabernet Sauvignon.
