Alice in Wonderland is a family-friendly story that follows a little girl named Alice as she leaves the outfield of her baseball game and follows a White Rabbit through his hole into a magical world of adventure. As Alice's curiosity brings her deeper and deeper into this wonderland, homesickness sets in and she must begin to find her way back to the Baseball Diamond from the land of the Queen of Hearts.

Although Alice faces much adversity, she begins to develop a better understanding of herself, while also learning about growing up, the importance of manners and the beauty of imagination.

Adapted by Kathryn Schultz Miller from Lewis Carroll's classic, Alice in Wonderland is the first of five shows premiering this summer. The 2011 Hangar Theatre KIDDSTUFF season is filled with favorite kids books brought to life on stage. Alice will be followed by If You Give a Pig a Pancake (June 30- July 2, July 7-9), Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type (July 21-23), Willy Wonka Junior (August 4-6), and a musical adaptation of Goodnight Moon (September 1-3).
