Hangar Theatre's annual benefit returns as an epic battle of charades. Acting Out on the Hangar Stage is a light-hearted FUNdraiser in which local personalities go toe to toe with Broadway stars in an a charades competition to support the theatre's education programs. Four teams will compete by acting out entertainment clues for their teammates and also by fundraising for the event, which will take place at the Hangar Theatre on Saturday, October 5 at 6:30pm.

Acting Out team members include: Wally Dunn (Broadway's Spamalot, Gypsy, Hangar's Gypsy, November and Spelling Bee), Stacie Morgain Lewis (Broadway's Sunday in the Park with George, Urinetown, Wicked, and Titanic), Mark Price (Broadway's Mary Poppins, All Shook Up, Mama Mia! and Hangar's Sweeney Todd), Dave Ashton (WYXL97.3 Lite Rock Radio Host), Jean McPheeters (Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce President), Frost Travis (President of Travis Hyde Properties), and Stephen Nunley (Kitchen Theatre Managing Director).

In addition, Hangar board members Laurel Southard (Director of Undergraduate Research at Cornell University), Ann Costello (Physician), Jessica Casey (Physician), and Arno Selco (Retired Ithaca College Acting Professor) will also compete. STACIE MORGAIN LEWIS starred as Eliza Doolittle in the Hangar's production of My Fair Lady. She most recently seen on Broadway as Frieda/Betty in the critically acclaimed revival of Sunday in the Park with George.  Prior to that, she played Glinda in the Chicago production of Wicked.  Broadway: Wicked (stand by/performed Glinda), Urinetown (performed Hope Cladwell & Little Sally), Titanic.  Off-Broadway: Don't Quit Your Night Job.  National Tours: Titanic, South Pacific (performed Nellie Forbush opposite Michael Nouri). Regional: LMNOP (Agnes) at Goodspeed, The 39 Steps (Annabella/Margaret/Pamela), No Way To Treat a Lady (Sarah), Sarah, Plain and Tall (Anna), You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Lucy), A Chorus Line (Kristine).
